Social Media Strategy Intern

Introduction
We are seeking a part-time, hourly, remote Social Media Strategy Intern to develop and execute a results-driven social media strategy across our two brands, with a focus on Everly Emerging—our career advisory service focused on early-stage career professionals. This role is focused on driving brand growth, engagement, and measurable impact on revenue through thoughtful, data-informed social strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals, including audience growth, engagement, and lead generation
  • Plan and oversee content calendars across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
  • Leverage analytics and tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Meltwater, or similar) to inform strategy and optimize performance
  • Analyze performance metrics and continuously refine content based on engagement, reach, and conversion data
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop compelling content, campaigns, and messaging
  • Implement strategies to increase followership, engagement, and revenue impact
  • Stay current on platform trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to continuously improve results
  • Handle posting across all platforms several times a week

Requirements

  • Solid personal or professional experience in social media strategy, digital marketing, or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to think like a growth marketer, with a focus on driving measurable outcomes—not just content execution
  • Strong understanding of major social platforms and content formats, particularly Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
  • Experience using analytics and social listening tools highly preferred (e.g., Sprout Social, Meltwater, or similar)
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity

Compensation

$18-20 an hour for about 10 hours a week during the summer

Possibility to continue on in the fall

Location

Although this is a fully remote position, we are requiring that applicants reside in states where we are authorized to do business, which include NY, NJ, PA, CT, RI or FL.
