Inventory Auction Intern

Duration: Summer Internship (May–August, flexible start/end dates)
Position Overview:
SebastianCharles Auctions is seeking a motivated summer intern to assist with inventory and auction operations. This is a hands-on role focused on organization, logistics, and working directly with a wide range of items including artwork, jewelry, sterling silver, and collectibles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pack and prepare items for shipment with careful handling
- Organize and sort incoming inventory
- Catalog items into inventory systems with accurate details
- Assist with tracking and managing inventory across auctions and sales channels
- Label, stage, and prepare items for upcoming auctions
- Support photography prep by organizing and handling items
- Assist with shipping coordination and fulfillment
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to handle fragile and valuable items responsibly
- Comfortable with hands-on, physical work
- Basic computer skills (Google Sheets or similar)
- Interest in art, antiques, jewelry, or collectibles is a plus
