Job Title: QC Analyst (Entry‑Level / Early Career)

Location: Orangeburg, NY
Industry: Medical Device / In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD)
Shift: Second Shift | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Contract Duration: 3‑Month Assignment
Pay Rate: $22/hour + shift differential

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Medical Technology
• 3–6 months of laboratory or research experience, including: 
  • Academic research
  • Internship or co‑op
  • Entry‑level industry experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOP‑driven processes

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing of Clinical Chemistry, Critical Care, Coagulation, and Microbiology controls and reagents using automated and manual techniques
• Execute testing in accordance with SOPs, QC Monographs, and GMP standards
• Conduct raw material, in‑process, and finished product testing, including result interpretation and pass/fail determination
• Maintain GMP‑compliant documentation, ensuring accuracy and data integrity
• Perform product stability, proficiency, environmental, and water system testing
• Execute microbial testing per SOPs and QC Monographs
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, cleaning, and equipment calibration
• Manage laboratory supplies, monitor storage conditions and expiration dates
• Properly handle and dispose of hazardous and biohazardous materials
• Organize retained samples and maintain charts, logs, and trend data to support quality investigations
