Marketing Specialist

 Marketing Specialist Full-Time | Permanent | On-Site / Hybrid

Position Overview We are seeking a creative, driven Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role blends graphic design, social media, and event coordination — ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives across multiple marketing disciplines and wants to make a measurable impact on our brand and community presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule engaging content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), maintaining a consistent brand voice and posting cadence.
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, track performance metrics, and report on growth and engagement.
  • Design digital and print materials including social media graphics, flyers, banners, brochures, and presentations using Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
  • Plan and execute events including corporate meetings, fundraisers, and community programs — from concept and logistics through on-site coordination and post-event wrap-up.
  • Develop and maintain brand templates and style guidelines to ensure consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Research and manage relationships with vendors, venues, and suppliers; prepare quotes, timelines, run-of-show documents, and checklists.
  • Lead photo editing, image sourcing, and management of digital asset libraries.
  • Own event budgets and expense tracking, flagging and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Conduct post-event and campaign evaluations; compile data and feedback to inform future strategy.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop quarterly marketing plans aligned with company goals.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Event Management, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 2+ years of professional experience in marketing, graphic design, social media management, and/or event coordination.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Canva or Figma experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience managing business social media accounts, scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, Sprout Social), and analytics platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Eventbrite, Cvent, or similar event platforms is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, project-management, and time-management skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working with vendors, clients, guests, and internal teams.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as events require.
  • Portfolio demonstrating design work and social media campaigns required.

What We Offer
