Summer Events & Hospitality Internship

Job Summary: 

Our Special Events Hospitality Intern will join our team for a 14-week period. This is a paid internship for individuals looking to grow their skills in knowledge in both weddings and events industry. The ideal candidate will have flexible availability based on department needs to include some evenings & most weekends.

General Accountabilities:

  • Assisting the management team with prepping, setting up, and executing decorating workshops
  • Managing a schedule to effectively and efficiently manage all wedding/catering order delivery and set-ups in a visually aesthetic manner
  • Completing project-based objectives
  • Ensuring the overall profitability of our events department by meeting goals and quotas
  • Acting as the face of events to ensure a positive experience using excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • GPA Requirement: 3.2+ 
  • Education: College Sophomore, Junior, or Senior 
  • College Major: Public Relations; Hospitality; Business Administration; Communications; Or Related Field. 
  • Weekend Availability required.

  • Capable of grasping complex ideas and strategies for overall business success
