Talent Acquisition Intern
Clinical Research Talent Acquisition Intern
About the Role
We’re looking for two Talent Acquisition Interns to join our team and support hiring across our clinical research sites. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how recruiting really works; everything from sourcing candidates to supporting interviews to analyzing the data behind our hiring decisions.
This role goes beyond coordination. You’ll help us improve how we attract talent, keep our recruiting data clean and reliable in Greenhouse (our ATS), and turn that data into clear, useful insights for leadership.
We view this internship as a stepping stone into a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist role, and we’ll invest in helping you build the skills to get there.
This is a paid 1 month internship with the possibility of turning into a full-time permanent Talent Acquisition Specialist to start in June. This internship is intended to provide meaningful experience, mentorship, and a strong foundation for a career in Talent Acquisition, HR, or people analytics.
What You’ll Work On
Interview Coordination & Candidate Experience
- Schedule interviews and keep things moving smoothly between interview steps
- Setup communication steps to allow for automation once candidates have completed interview processes to maintain a high-quality candidate experience
- Keep candidate records accurate and up to date in Greenhouse
- Help post jobs and ensure consistency across jobs, sites, and job boards
Recruitment Marketing
- Utilize employer branding best practices to develop high-touch recruiment marketing campaigns to attract highly qualified passive talent for hard-to-fill roles (LinkedIn posts, outreach messaging, etc.)
- Use LinkedIn and other tools to identify and engage potential candidates
- Perform A/B testing and track performance of marketing campaigns
- Suggest improvements and additional tools, methods, and strategies
TA Data & Business Analytics
- Help maintain clean, accurate, and timely data in Greenhouse
- Audit candidate stages, dispositions, and activity to ensure reporting accuracy
- Pull recruiting data and build reports in Excel (pipeline health, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, etc.)
- Support creation of weekly/monthly dashboards for leadership
- Identify trends or gaps in the data and share insights with the TA team
- Partner with TA leadership to improve how we track and measure recruiting performance
Example Projects
- Create and manage a sourcing strategy for a hard-to-fill high-priority role, from initiation to hired.
- Identify areas of improvement that are of interest to you; pitch projects that fix problems, saves time, and best tells our story to both internal teams and candidates, alike.
What We’re Looking For
- Interest in Talent Acquisition, HR, or people analytics
- Passionate about clinical research, healthcare, or biopharma industries
- Strong preference given to those graduating in August 2026 and will afterwards have availability to accept a full-time position Monday through Friday between the hours of 8a-5p PST.
- Has demonstrable work experience that reflects you can be trusted to stick things out when the going gets tough.
- A hard worker who is motivated by helping a team reach their goals and being a true support person (a little competition is helpful, too)
- Strong attention to detail—especially when working with data.
- Experience with using pivot tables, formulas, and reporting in Excel
- Demonstrated previous experience with data analysis and dashboards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks; prefers being the group member that keeps everyone else organized and on track
- Curious and eager to learn new things
- Laidback in approach and able to change direction at the drop of a hat - this position isn't for someone who thrives best in roles that provide a high amount of structure in their days
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Exposure to recruiting and HR systems, such as iCIMS, Greenhouse, or Rippling
- Foundational understanding of UI and UX research and design that come together to create successful marketing projects.
Why This Role is Worth Your Time
- You’ll get real, hands-on recruiting experience—not just admin work
- You’ll build a unique combination of recruiting + analytics skills, which are highly in demand
- You’ll learn how hiring data is used to inform executive-level decisions
- You’ll work closely with an experienced Talent Acquisition team
- You’ll gain exposure to a growing industry that supports clinical research and patient outcomes
