About the role
We're looking for a driven, people-oriented new graduate to join our team as a Sales Producer. In this role, you'll prospect and develop new client relationships, introducing businesses across New York to Friedlander Group's Safety Groups — a unique workers' compensation program underwritten by the New York State Insurance Fund.
You'll have a clear story to tell: businesses that join our Safety Groups save significantly on workers' compensation costs and earn dividend returns averaging 30%. Your job is to find the right businesses, build trust, and bring them in.
What you'll do
- Prospect and reach out to businesses in industries like retail, restaurants, hotels, healthcare, transportation, and more
- Educate business owners and decision-makers on the value of joining a Friedlander Safety Group
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients from first contact through enrollment
- Collaborate with our experienced team to structure the right fit for each client
- Develop your professional network and grow a long-term book of business
- Represent Friedlander Group at industry events and through outbound outreach
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree (any major) — recent graduates encouraged to apply
- Genuine interest in sales, business development, and building client relationships
- Strong communication skills — clear, confident, and persuasive
- Self-motivated with a competitive drive and hunger to succeed
- Comfortable with outbound outreach and the persistence it takes to win new business
- No insurance experience required — we'll train you on everything you need to know
