Photography & Communications Intern

Chicago Yacht Club is in search of a Photography & Communications Intern for the Summer Season. The intern will work directly with the Communications Director and the Digital Content Specialist.

Duties include: 

• Photographing sailing programs, regattas, and club events
• Editing photos
• Uploading photos into our filing system
• Assisting with posting live coverage of events on Instagram and Facebook
• Other marketing and administrative assignments as needed

The Chicago Yacht Club provides a Nikon camera, but it's preferred if the applicant has their own camera.

The intern should be organized, have initiative, be a good photographer, possess a degree of interest in sailing or boats, be comfortable on a boat, have knowledge of basic principles of design, and be familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Lightroom, InDesign, Illustrator)
