About the Role: We are looking for a creative and culturally-tuned Social Media Intern to join our team. We're seeking someone who lives on their TikTok and Instagram FYP and is that friend that always knows the niche drama and what’s going viral and is eager to roll up their sleeves across content creation and community management. This internship will focus on supporting our social presence for Suave and ChapStick.
Responsibilities:
· Assist with content ideation and creation for TikTok and Instagram, including pitching ideas, drafting captions, maintaining content calendars, and sourcing UGC (user-generated content) for reposts
· Support day-to-day community management across platforms, responding to comments, engaging with followers, and flagging notable conversations to the team and compiling “what’s trending” reports
· Monitor hair and beauty trends across social platforms, identifying emerging formats, sounds, and viral moments relevant to Suave and ChapStick
· Support in tracking and compile social performance metrics into weekly and monthly reports
· Conduct competitive social audits across key hair and beauty brands
· Assist with social shoots and content days as needed
· Support the broader Consumer Engagement team on campaigns and activations
Requirements:
· Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
· Available 3–4 days per week
· Strong creative instincts with an eye for what performs on TikTok and Instagram
· Proactive, self-starter mindset with a genuine passion for social media and brand storytelling
· Familiarity with social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube; basic knowledge of social scheduling or analytics tools is a plus
· Strong writing skills — you can write a caption that sounds human
