Research Intern
Chief Executive Group seeks a Research Intern to support the research team during our peak report period. The reports cover senior executive compensation and key financial benchmarks for companies. This is a remote internship from May through mid-October with flexibility on full or part time hours. Candidates must be able to work business hours in eastern or central time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist research team with development of surveys aimed at senior corporate leadership using survey monkey and Qualtrics
- Program, quality assurance, and monitor a series of digital surveys and flash polls
- Conduct data analysis on survey results and report on key trends/findings using data analysis and visualization with excel and PowerPoint
- Assist with various editorial assignments (articles, whitepapers, reports)
- Coordinate and send survey invitations
- Develop marketing content based on the reports to assist the marketing team.
- Participate in research team discussions and attend staff meetings
- Assist with other projects as needed
Qualifications:
- College student or recent graduate (Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or Economics majors preferred)
- Data literacy and good data visualization skills
- Self-starter who can try to answer questions on their own
- Knowledge and understanding of statistics
- Interest in journalism, business, and corporate leadership
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
- High-level proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required;
Experience with Survey Monkey and Qualtrics a plus
