Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Sales Intern to support our business development and sales team. This role offers hands-on exposure to the beauty and skincare manufacturing industry, with a focus on lead generation, client outreach, and sales operations.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage inbound leads from the company website portal, including qualifying inquiries, organizing lead details, and ensuring timely follow-up
  • Support the sales team in identifying and researching prospective skincare and beauty brands
  • Conduct market research on industry trends, competitors, and emerging brands
  • Help prepare sales materials, presentations, and product decks, as needed
  • Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Supply Chain, Operations) to understand product capabilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management

As an intern, you’ll:

  • Work in our Dallas Headquarter office
  • Get hands-on experience in B2B sales within the beauty manufacturing space
  • Learn more about how we develop formulas, make products, and fill packaging that ultimately gets shipped to consumers and retailers 
  • Exposure to product development and commercialization processes
  • Mentorship from experienced sales and industry professionals
  • Interact with employees from different departments and learn how to work with a team
  • Develop business acumen, improve your resume of experiences, and potentially gain letters of recommendation for future employment if you exceed expectations. 

Qualification requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, Communications, preferred). 
  • Strong interest in beauty and skincare industry. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to function independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to work within a multi-discipline team and receive dynamic on-the-job training.
  • Highly organized; ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously with a strong attention to detail.
