Social Media and Marketing Assistant

We are looking for a Social Media & Marketing Assistant to join our growing fashion brand, pookie & sebastian. This role is ideal for a college student or recent graduate who is passionate about fashion, content creation, and digital marketing, and is looking for a long-term opportunity to grow within a brand.

You will work closely with the team on daily social media operations, content creation, and brand growth across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Plan, create, and execute social media content

Film and edit content (Reels, TikToks, product videos, in-store content)

Manage daily posting and engagement (comments, DMs)

Stay up to date with trends and bring fresh content ideas

Assist with photoshoots and in-store content creation

Travel to store locations to capture content regularly

Support influencer outreach and collaborations

Requirements:

College student or recent graduate (Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred)

Strong interest in fashion and social media

Comfortable being hands-on with content creation (iPhone content is fine)

Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, and current trends

Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel between store locations for content creation

Nice to Have:

Experience with Canva or Adobe tools

Previous social media, retail, or content creation experience

Understanding of branding, aesthetics, and visual storytelling
