Videography Intern (Part-Time) – Africans in Tech Podcast

Location: Atlanta, GA (in-person)
Schedule: 3 Saturdays or Sundays per month (8-hour days)
Compensation: $20/hour + lunch provided + gas reimbursement

Role Overview

We are seeking a Videography Intern who is detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about high-quality content production. This role is critical to ensuring our podcast episodes are captured with clear visuals, crisp audio, and professional production quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Record podcast sessions using provided audio and video equipment
• Ensure high-quality, non-blurry video footage with proper framing and focus
• Monitor and maintain clear, consistent audio levels throughout recordings
• Remain fully attentive during sessions to quickly identify and address any technical issues
• Set up and break down recording equipment efficiently
• Communicate proactively with hosts regarding any concerns or adjustments needed
• Ensure all footage and audio files are properly saved and transferred after sessions

Qualifications

• Basic experience with videography, camera operation, or content production
• Strong attention to detail (focus, lighting, audio clarity, framing)
• High level of professionalism and reliability
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness
• Ability to stay engaged and attentive for extended recording sessions
• Willingness to learn and take feedback
