Job Title: Lab Technician
Pay: $23/hour
Job Type: Full-time
Location: On-site at our Beaverton Lab, 97008.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and complex molecular testing, in accordance with SOPs.
- Prepare specimens for testing and analysis using various laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Review, record and release specimen test results.
- Compile and maintain records to ensure state and federal regulations are upheld for all reagents, procedures, and equipment used in the testing process.
- Ensure adherence to safety and procedural guidelines.
- Assist in the development, validation, and implementation of new laboratory methods/services.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues.
- Cross-train in other teams as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific area, such as molecular biology, genetics, etc.
- Detail oriented, organized, flexible and independent
- Good time management and multi-tasking skills
- Experience with pipette handling
- Experience with automated liquid handlers would be a plus
- Good oral and written communications skills, critical thinking
- Able to work at least one weekend shift per week
