About the Role
We're growing our referral network and looking for a motivated intern to help us build it. You'll work directly with our owner to identify and reach out to prospective referral partners — think medical professionals, senior living communities, elder law attorneys, and others who serve the same families we do. This is a real business development role with real impact.
What You'll Do
- Research and identify prospective referral partners across the Austin area
- Make outbound calls and send emails to prospects to introduce Hallmark and set appointments
- Help develop and refine outreach scripts and messaging
- Assist with marketing materials including flyers, branded content, and client gift campaigns
- Track outreach activity and help analyze what channels and messaging perform best
- Participate in weekly strategy sessions with our owner/operator
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled at UT Austin (business, communications, healthcare administration, social work, and liberal arts students are all great fits)
- Comfortable on the phone — warmth and confidence matter more than experience
- Organized, self-motivated, and reliable
- Genuinely interested in sales, marketing, entrepreneurship, or healthcare services
