Podcast and Brand Marketing Intern

PODCAST GROWTH

• Conduct research on relevant podcast guest recommendations for Freedom at The Mat's Well Chats. 
  • Intern to ensure content is relevant to monthly occasion/thematic (e.g. Breast Cancer Awareness, Mental Health Awareness Month)
    • Must provide recommendations 2 months ahead of the actual month
    • Assist with finding email and making initial contact, as requested using FreedomAtTheMat@gmail.com email address
    • Develop podcast production and promotional assets via Canva (Billboards, Posts & Stories creative)
    • Serve as production assistant on set for in-person podcast filming

BRAND PROMOTION

• Using brand standards, develop content for TikTok to grow the Freedom at The Mat content and the following
  • Must be consistent with posting a minimum of 3x weeklyDevelop Creator Affiliate program on TikTok to sell Freedom at The Mat brand products through the platform using creators
• Develop promotional ideas and social content to grow attendance at FaTM in-person classes in New Orleans
• Identify conferences for the “I Am Wellthy” Workshop for FaTM to present

LEARNING OUTCOMES

1. Gain experience creating content for specific brands
2. Gain experience growing a following on a brand’s platform
3. Understand how to work with influencers

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Self-motivated Individual, with some college coursework to-date (minimum Sophomore)
• Must have strong work ethic and willingness to work in a high energy, fast-paced environment
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
• Communicate effectively and professionally in a relatable, calm and courteous manner 
• Utilize agility and mobility to execute assigned tasks
• Work in collaboration with other team members
