Paralegal and Office Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Paralegal & Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to our legal team, ensuring smooth operations within the department. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment and contribute to the success of our organization.

Duties:

- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and agreements
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic files
- Conduct legal research and compile data for cases
- Schedule appointments and manage attorney calendars
- Coordinate meetings and events, including event planning and logistics
- Handle incoming calls and emails with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette
- Assist with human resources tasks, such as payroll processing and training development
- Provide clerical support, including typing, copying, scanning, and filing documents
- Manage correspondence and communication with clients, witnesses, and other parties
- Support team management by collaborating with colleagues on various projects

Skills:

- Proficient in calendar management software
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience in payroll processing is a plus
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
