Camp AGQ Store Manager

The Camp Store Manager is responsible for the daily operation, safety, and success of the AGQ Camp Store while supporting the camper and staff experience. You'll work closely with Assistant Store Manager, Counselors-In-Training (CITs) and camp leadership to create a fun, welcoming, and efficient camp store!

 

Expectations

  • Camp Store Operations
    • Manage camp store and inventory room throughout the summer
    • Open and close camp store for the season
    • Staff camp store during camper free time
    • Communicate with parents via phone, email, or in-person with store-related questions
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the camp store and items stored.
    • Oversee the role of Assistant Store Manager and daily and weekly tasks.
    • Leave a clear plan for the Assistant Store Manager when off-duty.
  • Training and Mentorship
    • Mentor and work closely with Counselors-in-Training (CITs) in the store
    • Lead store training on the first night of CIT session. 
    • Train and support all staff working in the store to ensure best practices
  • Inventory Management
    • Track inventory and collaborate with the Camp Director on merchandise ordering.
    • Take a full inventory weekly with amounts and sizes
    • Submit orders for store drinks and snacks in a timely manner
  • Other Camp Roles
    • Also work as a cabin counselor, supporting campers and participating in daily camp life
    • Staff live on site, room and board included
