Legal Marketing and Personal Branding Intern

Marketing & Personal Branding Intern New York City · Part-time · Paid · Spring/Summer 2026

We're a NYC-based law firm gearing up for an exciting new chapter — including the launch of a brand-new website — and we're looking for a creative, driven marketing intern to help us build our digital presence from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to do real, meaningful work.

What you'll do

As our marketing intern, you'll be involved in everything from our upcoming website launch to building a social media presence that actually resonates. You'll plan, create, and schedule content across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms, developing a content calendar and helping grow our audience week over week. One of the most unique parts of this role is working directly with our attorneys on personal branding — helping them craft compelling LinkedIn profiles and thought leadership posts that tell their stories and position them as experts in their fields. Legal/law firm knowledge is a plus. You'll also draft articles, and track engagement analytics to sharpen our strategy over time.

What we're looking for

The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a marketing, communications, or related program and has strong writing skills — clear, warm, and jargon-free. You should be comfortable with LinkedIn, Instagram, and word press, and confident enough to manage your own workload and deadlines. An interest in professional services or personal branding is a plus, and basic design skills in Canva, Adobe, or Figma are a bonus, though not required.

What you'll get

This internship is paid ($20–25/hr, depending on experience, 15–20 hours per week) and offers something most internships don't: real portfolio work. The campaigns and content you create will be live and visible, giving you tangible examples to show future employers. You'll work closely with firm leadership and get hands-on mentorship throughout. Academic credit arrangements are available for eligible students.
