Junior Business Operations Associate

Junior Business Operations Associate (Bilingual: English/Mandarin)

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Junior Business Operations Associate who is fluent in both English and Mandarin. This role is a vital execution-focused position, ensuring seamless coordination between our global B2B clients, internal procurement, and finance workflows

key Responsibilities

Bilingual Business Coordination: Serve as the primary touchpoint for B2B customers and internal teams. Communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin to ensure project requirements and financial details are accurately understood.

Transaction Lifecycle Management: Own the full process of tracking Purchase Orders (POs), monitoring order status, and ensuring timely invoicing.

Quotation & Support: Assist in preparing detailed quotations and organizing pricing data. Translate or clarify technical/commercial requirements between English and Mandarin speaking stakeholders when necessary.

Procurement & Approvals: Coordinate the procurement workflow, including vendor communication and securing internal departmental approvals.

Financial Follow-up: Monitor accounts receivable (AR) and proactively follow up with clients to ensure payments are completed within agreed terms.

Commercial Insight (Growth): Identify and surface potential new business leads or client expansion signals during daily interactions to support the sales team.

Requirements

Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and verbal) is required. Ability to conduct business correspondence and handle professional calls in both languages.

Detail-Centric: Strong willingness to handle repetitive, process-driven tasks with high consistency and 100% accountability.

Persistent & Resilient: Patience to manage multiple follow-ups and the ability to thrive under pressure in a task-heavy environment.

Owner Mentality: A self-starter who takes full ownership of tasks and pushes them toward completion without constant supervision.

Fast Learner: Ability to quickly adapt to new business systems (ERP/CRM), internal workflows, and professional communication styles.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or a related field.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data organization, basic formulas).

Prior internship or work experience in an office, operations, or customer-facing environment.

Experience with cross-border business operations or multicultural team environments is a major plus.
