Community Logistics Coordinator

Company Overview

The Mark Cuban Foundation (MCF) hosts free introductory Artificial Intelligence Bootcamps for underserved high school students and, through its new Agentic AI Academy, delivers AI education to teens and adults in partnership with community colleges, nonprofit organizations, and workforce development programs. Founded by Mark Cuban in 2019, MCF has hosted programs with partner organizations for students across the United States and is expanding its reach to include adult learners and small business owners. The Academy teaches people how to build and use AI agents for real tasks, creating tangible economic opportunity in communities that have historically lacked access to technology education.

Position Description

As the Community Logistics Coordinator for the Agentic AI Academy, you will build and steward the network of community colleges and nonprofit organizations that partner with the Mark Cuban Foundation for collective impact. You will coordinate resources including venues, grant funding and materials between collaboration organizations.

This position requires a diverse set of skills, including institutional outreach, grant writing, event and program logistics, professional communication, and the ability to manage multiple active partnerships simultaneously. Your commitment to economic equity and community-based education is as important as your organizational abilities.

    • Build long-term relationships with community college workforce development offices, continuing education departments, and nonprofit program directors to ensure recurring cohort opportunities.
    • Coordinate conferences, convenings, community events, and nonprofit sector gatherings that further our mission.
  • Grant Management

    • Collaborate with partner institutions on joint grant applications.
    • Track grant outcomes and compile program data needed for funder reports, including participant demographic data. Follow all requirements for data privacy and security.
  • Team Support & Collaboration
    • With Director of Partnerships: Coordinate legal agreements and support for non-corporate programs. Contribute to Impact Report creation.
    • With Marketing Lead: Distribute digital outreach materials and coordinate media or marketing assets needed for events.
    • Communicate kindly, promptly and clearly with all team members.
    • Participate as a team player and co-create a culture that is positive, supportive, and focused on quality deliverables.
    • Cheerfully take on other duties as assigned.

Qualified Applicants Will Have

  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher in business, communications, economics, nonprofit/education management, or similar fields. PhD researchers are warmly welcomed; this role may expand to accommodate your research strengths.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated work experience related to the job description, and can provide a resume with references.
  • A track record of positive contributions to a team and a focus on success toward a shared goal over individual accomplishments.
  • Comfortable asking questions, seeking mentoring opportunities, and learning independently to solve problems and tackle new types of work as needed for the role. A commitment to continuous learning and growth.
  • A sincere dedication and interest in developing future leaders and innovators who are committed to ethical principles and human flourishing. Our organization promotes equity in AI education for those that have been typically underserved and aligns with partners to further this mission.
