Flight Dispatcher
The Dispatch role involves overseeing and managing daily flight operations, including flight planning and coordination, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, monitoring aircraft activity, crew management and maintaining high safety standards. The individual will collaborate with pilots, dispatchers, and other teams to ensure seamless flight operations and efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and support daily flight operations, ensuring each trip is fully planned and ready for execution
- Monitor live flights and proactively respond to changes, delays, or operational challenges
- Serve as a key point of contact for flight crews, providing real-time updates and support
- Build and manage crew schedules while maintaining strict compliance with Part 135 duty and rest requirements
- Track crew availability, training, and legality across the fleet
- Coordinate all crew logistics, including hotels, airline travel, and ground transportation
- Review and finalize trip details to ensure accuracy across passenger information, timing, and special requests
- Quickly resolve irregular operations (weather, maintenance, or crew conflicts) with effective solutions
- Maintain accurate, real-time updates across operational systems and communication channels
- Help ensure every flight operates safely, efficiently, and without surprises
Qualifications
- Proficient in Jet Insight or similar
- Proficiency in Zendesk and Slack also a plus
- Part 135 experience
- Understanding of flight coordination and operational logistics
- Expertise in Flight Safety regulations and standards
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-paced, on-site environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Aeronautics, or related field is preferred
- Experience in the aviation or airline industry is a significant advantage
- Dispatcher license not required - we can send you to school for your license if earned
