Project Manager

Area Mechanical is looking for an experienced Project Manager who is responsible for estimating commercial, plan and spec and managing the project to completion. This individual will coordinate activities and functions to achieve revenue goals and objectives while maintaining and developing customer relationships through quality service and support of customer needs.

Well organized and skilled in set-up and maintaining electronic and paper filing systems for quick and efficient access to needed documents Excellent communication skills: written and verbal Hands on PC experience and demonstrated knowledge with MS Office products (Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook)Prior experience in the Mechanical or related field Knowledge of construction management software, Essential Duties  Develop self-generated leads through networking, data mining (from existing client records) and referral generation from previous clients. Follow-up on all leads, proposal, and potential sales until closed or lost. 

Establish goals and objectives as they relate to the position, along with a plan of action to attain or exceed set goals. Regularly review and monitor progress against goals, and seek assistance as needed. Assess customer needs and develop customized solutions for home comfort replacement/upgrade proposals, present financing options, secure sales. 

Manages total project to ensure the project is completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule, ensuring complete customer satisfaction. Actively participates in developing and maintaining a customer centered team culture among service center personnel including customer communications and completing all work as it relates to the project including scheduling, inspections, product registration and rebates, and customer satisfaction follow up. Qualified candidate will work directly with customers and team to provide technical support, resolve issues, and provide HVAC, plumbing, and maintenance.

 Establish and maintain a good working relationship with field trade personnel, general contractors, and sub-contractors manage RFIs and change orders to include monitoring pending change orders to assure that changes to the work are communicated to the customer and documented for invoicing purposes. Assist with estimating takeoffs, assembling finished proposals, and managing projects.
