Account Manager
The successful Account Manager (AM) oversees a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing customers, and actively seek new sales opportunities. The AM works as part of the interdisciplinary team designed to aid in the collection of information, such as sales leads, processing, and analysis of client data, and search for and comply with industry trends. The AM will conduct client meetings and site walkthroughs, present opportunities for enhancements, and ensure customer’s expectations are met. The AM will be successful at building long-term relationships, display outstanding customer service, and always strive to find the service which best fits the individual needs of the client.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers by establishing effective lines of communication and building trust between customers and UVETS
- Facilitate resolution of customer issues by performing effective site visits, team development, quality assurance inspections, and applying valuable quality control measures
- Corroborate with production team and other account managers to enhance the overall internal and external client experience
- Drive revenue by presenting enhancement plans and innovative ideas to customers; present proposals in a clear, concise, and professional manner and according to company’s standards
- Develop accurate estimates/takeoffs for new and existing accounts – coordinate enhancement plans with operations; communicate with site supervisors daily
- Generate referrals from existing client base; ensure all contracted services are Top-Notch quality
- Complete UVETS Certification Training Program
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Thorough knowledge of industry; landscape, construction, irrigation, arbor, plant health care, blueprints, and equipment utilization
- Sales driven; ability to generate sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent sales and customer service skills
- Outstanding conflict resolution skills
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time
- Strong computer skills; proficient in Office 365, search engines, ASPIRE, Go Ilawn, and other CRM software
- Subscribe to a leadership style and display professional etiquette at all times
- Service and teamwork oriented with the ability to handle diversity
- Possess a valid Texas Driver’s License with a clean record

Requirements
Education and Experience
- Associate's degree or higher in Horticulture, Business Administration, Sales, or similar field
- 3+ years of account management experience required
Physical
- Prolonged periods of sitting while working on a computer
- Walking long distances conducting site visits
- May be exposed to hazardous material, loud noise, and/or extreme heat/cold temperatures
