The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our underwriting and operations team. This role provides hands-on exposure to the insurance industry, including support, policy processing, and day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside production teams to gain hands-on experience in real-time business activities
- Assist with preparing submissions, reviewing documents, and supporting the underwriting process
- Actively participate in day-to-day operations, including data entry, file management, and system updates
- Learn how to review policies, claims, and risk information while contributing to team workflows
- Collaborate with team members on projects and gain exposure to agency communications
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and discussions to build industry knowledge
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Interest in insurance or financial services
