Account Services Intern

Account Services Intern

As an Account Services Intern, you will be at the heart of our agency’s operations. You won’t just be watching from the sidelines; you will be an active player in ensuring our media strategies are executed flawlessly and billed accurately.

Beyond traditional account management, you will lead a Special Innovation Project: identifying manual bottlenecks in our workflow and implementing AI-driven automation to solve them. This is a role for someone who is as comfortable with a pivot table as they are with a prompt window.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Account Management & Fulfillment

  • Financial Integrity: Assist the Account Services team with monthly billing cycles and financial reconciliation to ensure client spend aligns with media delivery.
  • Media Support: Help manage the lifecycle of media campaigns, from initial strategy support to final reporting, deck building, including learning to use tools and resources available to the department for competitive and qualitative research.
  • Client Services: Draft client communications, participate in status meetings, and help manage project timelines to ensure we hit every deadline.

Special Project: AI & Automation

  • Workflow Audit: Shadow the team to identify repetitive, manual tasks (e.g., data entry, report formatting, or creative versioning).
  • Solution Design: Research and propose AI-backed tools (like Claude, Gemini, Zapier, or specialized media automation software) to streamline these tasks.
  • Implementation: Build and test at least one automated workflow that saves the team hours of manual labor per week.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Current Student: Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Detail-Obsessed: You find peace in a reconciled budget and a clean spreadsheet.
  • AI-Curious: You don’t just use AI to write emails; you understand how it can be used to structure data and automate logic.
  • Communicator: You can explain a complex media plan or a new automated tool in a way that anyone can understand.
  • Technical Aptitude: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables are a must); familiarity with automation tools or AI LLMs is a major plus.

WHY JOIN US?

  • Real Impact: Your "special project" isn't busy work—it will change how our agency Account Team operates long after your internship ends.
  • Mentorship: Work directly with existing Account team and Media team members and gain exposure to entire agency
  • Full-Funnel Experience: Gain a deep understanding of the media landscape, from high-level strategy to the granular details of fulfillment and how an agency works.
