About MSI:
Molding Solutions, Inc. is a plastic injection molding corporation with 3 facilities in West Michigan and 1 facility in Washington, Illinois. We mold for a wide variety of different industries such as, automotive, medical, government, retail, office furniture, and many more. With nearly 200 employees housed in 4 different facilities, we strive to focus on creating a welcoming culture for everyone, growing the organization financially, and increasing our production capabilities to meet the needs of current and future customers.
Position Summary:
This position will focus on a broad range of the business field. You will work side by side with Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain Managers to complete both small and large projects tailored to your major.
Potential Essential Functions:
- Assisting in the implementation of a new MRP system.
- Entering and analyzing data.
- Assisting in the development of marketing strategies.
- Researching potential customers.
- Assisting in the strategic development of projects.
- Coordinating with different teams.
- Identifying inefficiencies.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements.
- Job shadowing various corporate leaders and managers.
Potential Projects:
- Creating a training plan for entry level team members.
- Auditing current processes.
- Creating sales presentations.
- Writing standard work instructions.
- Employee appreciation initiatives.
- Documenting current and new processes.
- Creating your own project that you believe would benefit the organization.
