What will you be doing?
- Identify and secure new carrier capacity that meets the demands of our customers.
- Increase the utilization of the company’s existing carrier base.
- Negotiate market competitive spot rates with carriers.
- Participate and provide carrier market guidance on customer RFQ / RFP / Bids.
- Assign and tender shipments to approved carriers.
- Ensure shipment requirements are clearly communicated to the carrier at the time of tender and that a signed rate confirmation is received prior to pick-up.
- Assist Logistics Account Coordinators and Logistics Account Executives in the customer quotation process.
- Proactively address and resolve issues as they arise.

- One or more years’ experience in freight brokerage operations or carrier development
- Fluency in Spanish or French a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM system preferred.
