Research & Development Lab Assistant
🔬 Summer Internship Opportunity: R&D Lab Assistant (Chemistry or Food Science Majors Wanted!) 🧪
Are you the kind of person who gets excited about color-changing reactions, perfectly balanced equations, and the smell of a freshly opened lab notebook? Do you casually drop phrases like “stoichiometry” into conversation? If so… we’ve been looking for you.

- Develop finished products including beverages, ice cream, and bakery items
- Perform analytical testing to determine chemical compound purity
- Conduct Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) on competitor samples, raw materials, and finished goods
- Identify peaks and determine chemical composition
🧪 Lab Operations & Quality:
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the R&D lab (a clean lab = a happy lab)
- Review and finalize lab formulas daily—organization is paramount
- Create Certificates of Analysis (C of A) for shipments
- Verify labels, batch cards, and incoming raw materials

- Ability to follow safety protocols (lab goggles = non-negotiable fashion)
💥 Why You’ll Love It Here:
- Real-world lab experience (not just textbook chemistry)
- Exposure to both analytical testing and creative product development
- Mentorship from passionate R&D professionals
