Grit Growth is a small, NYC-based team that works as an embedded operations and growth partner. Not a consultancy, not an agency. We sit inside the companies we work with and solve real problems: fixing broken processes, building automations, and creating systems that actually scale.
About the Role
Whether you're about to graduate, making a career change, or just starting out professionally, this role is for someone who wants to skip the corporate ladder entirely and go straight to doing meaningful work with real ownership from day one. No prior full-time experience required. We care way more about what you've built, figured out, or started on your own than where you've worked.
This is a small team (2-3 people), no layers, no middle management. You'll work directly with the founder on a mix of building operational systems and automations, solving problems across growth and execution for our clients, and owning projects end-to-end. AI tools are a core part of how we work, not a novelty.
What We're Looking For
- Based in NYC. This is an in-person role in NoMad
- A self-starter who figures things out without waiting for instructions
- Comfortable with ambiguity. We're a small team, the playbook isn't written yet
- Strong written communicator. Clear thinking shows up in clear writing
- Fluent with AI tools and excited about using them to multiply your output
- Quantitative or technical aptitude. You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable with data, spreadsheets, and picking up new tools fast
A Few Things to Know
This role is fast-paced and unstructured. You won't get a detailed spec for every project. You'll need to be comfortable wearing multiple hats and figuring things out as you go. If you thrive with clear boundaries and a well-defined lane, this probably isn't the right fit.
Compensation
$65,000-$85,000/year depending on experience, plus the opportunity to grow with a team that's building something from the ground up. Start date flexible.
