Technical Sales Specialist

Technical Sales Specialist's primary responsibility is to provide proposals/quotes for customized projects, by focusing on in depth understanding of customer needs, formulating an effective analytical solution and developing relationships with customers.
Our analytical laboratory in St. Louis serves as an analytical R&D team for our customers. Ideal candidates thrive in a fast paced, problem-solving environment requiring in depth technical knowledge along with exemplary customer service skills.

This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All accepted applicants must be U.S. Persons as defined by ITAR. Qualifications
- PhD/MS or B.S in Chemistry or equivalent education and experience.
- Prior experience (academic or industrial) in chemistry.
- Prior experience in sales or project management.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask and effective interpersonal, influencing skills and communication skills are required.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word and PPT).
- Must be able to handle multiple functions at the same time and maintain good organizational skills.
What would set you apart?
- Experience with organic chemistry, extractables/leachables, polymer chemistry, or chemical characterization for assessing biocompatibility.
- Knowledge of FTIR, NMR, GC/MS, LC/MS, Thermal Analysis, GPC, SEM/EDS.
- Strong writing and speaking skills.
