Internship – Marketing Intern

 

THOR, Shelton, CT, has a paid internship opening in the Marketing Department.  This will be an ideal opportunity for students pursuing a degree in B2B marketing with a background in science.

 

THOR is a producer of biocides and other specialty chemicals for a variety of industries including: personal care and household products, paints and coatings, polymers, adhesives and sealants, flame retardants, and wood and water treatment.

 

Duties will include:

  • Working on market surveys, which include but are not limited to:  internet research, searches on social media and various database providers, and gathering intel at retail stores
  • Generation of lead lists
  • Assisting with marketing campaigns 
  • Data analysis 
  • Editing literature and other marketing materials
  • Market Research
  • Special projects as required.

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Some college in Biology or Chemistry
  • Proficient communication and computer skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
