State Farm Scott H. Williams Agency is a growing State Farm Insurance Agency located in Mableton, GA, dedicated to providing exceptional insurance and financial services to our community. We are committed to expanding our reach, and delivering a top-notch customer service experience. We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Marketing & Community Engagement Intern to support our operations and help execute our marketing and customer acquisition strategies.


Are you energetic, outgoing, and passionate about your community? Our State Farm Agency is seeking a passionate Intern to help us connect with our neighbors, run local events, and share our story online. Join our team and become a trusted resource in the community while helping us grow and engage with those we serve.

What You’ll Do:

  • Plan and coordinate community events and charity initiatives that bring neighbors together and support local causes
  • Manage our social media channels by creating engaging, relevant content that highlights our agency’s values and services
  • Build and nurture relationships with local businesses, schools, and nonprofits to strengthen community ties
  • Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns to promote our agency as a trusted community resource
  • Support general marketing efforts and help maintain a positive, visible presence in the community

What We’re Looking For:

  • Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable using social media platforms and basic content creation tools to craft compelling posts and updates
  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Experience in events, marketing, or community work is a plus but not required
  • A genuine passion for community involvement and relationship building

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms (Facebook, Facebook Marketplace, Google Ads, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a professional demeanor.
  • College experience preferred; additional education or certifications in administration, marketing, or related fields are a plus.
