Sales & Marketing Intern
Xwurk — Sales & Marketing Intern (Summer 2026)
About Xwurk
Xwurk helps growing businesses turn chaos into clarity, and clarity into momentum. We work with SMBs (especially in manufacturing, construction, and professional services) to build better systems, sharper sales operations, and reporting that actually drives decisions.
We’re in a growth phase, which means this internship isn’t “busy work.” You’ll help us build real marketing assets, support real sales activity, and learn how a modern growth engine works.
Role Summary
As a Sales & Marketing Intern, you’ll help Xwurk create the content and collateral that supports business development: case studies, one-pagers, simple visual assets, light website updates, and outreach support. You’ll work closely with leadership and get exposure to how sales + marketing + delivery connect in a real consulting/services business.
This role is ideal for someone who’s organized, proactive, and likes turning messy thoughts into clean, usable assets.
What You’ll Work On
Sales Enablement + Collateral
- Build and refresh one-pagers, capability sheets, and simple pitch materials
- Help create case studies from real client work (short + practical, not fluffy)
- Support light CRM/admin work tied to outreach (clean notes, follow-ups, lists)
Marketing + Brand Content
- Create weekly content assets: short posts, carousels, simple graphics, and “proof” content
- Help package our thinking into worksheets, checklists, and webinar support materials
- Assist with light updates to website content (copy updates, formatting, adding proof blocks)
Business Development Support
- Research local organizations, events, partnerships (Chambers, networking groups, industry events)
- Help organize contact lists and outreach sequences
- Support webinar logistics and follow-up workflows
What Success Looks Like (By the End of Summer)
You’ll leave with a portfolio of work you can show off, including things like:
- 6–10 client-ready one-pagers / capability assets
- 3–5 completed case studies
- A repeatable weekly content cadence (with templates)
- A cleaner, more consistent sales + marketing workflow than we started with
Skills + Traits We’re Looking For
You don’t need to know everything. You do need to be:
- Clear communicator (writing + basic business professionalism)
- Organized + self-managed (you can run a checklist without being chased)
- Web design + development support (Wix, WordPress, Square)
- Design-capable at a basic level (Canva is fine; Adobe/Figma is a bonus)
- Comfortable learning new tools (Microsoft, Dynamics, CRM basics, etc.)
- Interested in business, sales, marketing, operations, and how companies grow
Bonus (not required):
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Dynamics, or any CRM
- Comfort interviewing team members and turning notes into a story (case study)
- Interest in Michigan business community, chambers, or local orgs
Logistics
- Timeline: 12 Weeks - Summer 2026 (flexible start/end; ideal May–Aug)
- Hours: 32–36 hours/week
- Location: Holland, MI (Hybrid)
- Compensation: $20.50/Hour
Why This Internship Is Different
You’ll work directly with leadership. You’ll build assets that go to market. You’ll learn what actually drives revenue and growth for real businesses, not theory.
If you’re the type who likes bringing structure, making things look sharp, and helping turn “big ideas” into execution… you’ll love this.
