We have an aggressive portfolio development plan and we are seeking a talented individual to join our growing North American Team based in New York City.

Role:
Based in New York City, New York, the Part-Time ISE intern will assist in the product assortment efforts in North America for essence cosmetics. This person will help bring to life the brand equity of essence to the American consumer in store.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and updating of retail fixtures for in-office presentations
- Save and organize product images using the Product Information Software
- Organize and track inventory of products, fixtures, and printed materials in the office
- Create instruction sheets for fixture updates and installation
- Proofread all printed materials, ensuring accuracy in pricing and product names by cross-referencing with database information
- Prepare and ship fixtures and products for executive retailer walkthroughs at retailer lab stores
- Perform general administrative tasks and organize files on the company server
- Create and update project trackers and project briefs
- Participate in and contribute ideas to collaborative creative review meetings
- Arrange shipment pickups and deliveries to vendors and retailers, including creating FedEx labels and scheduling pickups or drop-offs at the nearest office
Key Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills; oral and written
- Highly proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
- Sense of urgency; ability to understand timelines and work with deadlines
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in and with other teams
- Creative and proactive problem solver: ability to analyze data and provide potential solutions
- Excellent work habits and propensity to develop skill set of higher levels
- Passionate about the products and cosmetic industry
- This role will require coming into the NY headquarters minimum 4 days/week
- Lifting of boxes and other merchandising materials
