Summary:
Pacific Seafood is seeking a motivated Sales & Logistics Intern to support both commercial growth and operational efficiency by developing targeted sales strategies, creating streamlined logistics plans, and strengthening inter-plant collaboration. This role focuses on expanding local customer acquisition, improving service reliability, and enhancing coordination with our sister facility, Pacific Seafood San Antonio. This intern will also gain hands-on experience with products, inventory processes, and sales support functions, building a strong foundation in day-to-day sales and distribution processes
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a structured sales strategy focused on increasing local customer acquisition and expanding market presence.
- Support the sales team with administrative tasks, customer follow-ups, and service-related coordination.
- Interact directly with customers to understand their needs, strengthen relationships, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Create and maintain an efficient logistics plan to ensure consistent and reliable product availability.
- Learn product specifications and how inventory is managed to maintain accuracy and readiness.
- Support daily inventory tracking, documentation, and communication with warehouse or operations teams.
- Collaborate with Pacific Seafood San Antonio to enhance communication and operational alignment between facilities.
- Assist with shared initiatives that improve overall workflow, service standards, and distribution efficiency.
- Gain hands-on experience with product handling, order flow, and distribution processes.
- Participate in day-to-day operational activities to build a strong understanding of the full sales and logistics lifecycle.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you bring to Pacific Seafood
Required:
- Actively pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, with a graduation date no later than June of 2026, in:
- Logistics & Supply Chain Management
- Sales & Customer Relationship Management
- Business Administration
- Or a closely related field
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes quickly.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to stay organized when managing multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Basic PC knowledge.

- Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset
- Interest in sales strategy, customer relations, or distribution operations.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
- Basic understanding of inventory systems or logistics planning.
- Familiarity with seafood or agricultural product markets.
