Position Overview

You will serve as Attorney Daniel Benji’s right-hand attorney, ensuring cases stay on track, deadlines are met, and litigation tasks are completed thoroughly.  This will be a writing heavy position.

This role offers direct mentorship, detailed training, and real litigation experience — ideal for someone who wants to become an exceptional trial lawyer.

About the Role
Benji Personal Injury is seeking a disciplined, highly dependable, and detail-oriented Litigation Attorney who is eager to be trained, mentored, and developed into a top-tier litigator. This role is designed for someone who takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality work, enjoys structure, and wants hands-on training in real litigation from day one.

We welcome attorneys with limited experience — what matters most is that you are teachable, hard-working, and committed to learning our firm’s systems, strategy, and litigation style.

You will work directly with senior attorneys, including Attorney Daniel Benji, and will play a key role in moving cases from pleadings to trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities Litigation & Case Work

• Drafting Complaints and related pleadings
  
   
• Reviewing and responding to discovery
  
   
• Drafting, opposing, and arguing motions (Demurrers, MSJs, Motions to Compel, etc.)
• Meeting and conferring over discovery matters along with sending and responding to written conversations.
  
   
• Assisting in trial prep: exhibit lists, witness outlines, trial briefs, jury instructions
  
   

Case Management & Strategy

• Tracking and managing deadlines with precision
  
   
• Maintaining organized case files and litigation calendars
  
   
• Drafting meet-and-confers and participating in discovery motions
  
   
• Supporting case strategy under direct guidance from Mr. Benji
  
   
• Reviewing team work and helping move cases forward each day
  
   
• Communicating professionally with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
• Keeping track of assignments and ensuring cases move forward and issues resolved.
