Claims Specialist
The Social Security Administration is now hiring! We are offering entry-level claims specialist positions in the Anaheim, CA field office.
Claims Specialists receive extensive training in Social Security programs and work directly with the public. They speak with beneficiaries about Social Security benefits, interview applicants, determine a claimant’s initial eligibility for Social Security benefits, and analyze evidence to make a determination on their application.

- Competitive starting salaries: around $47,490 at the GS-5 level, and $58,827 at the GS-7 level. (Salaries vary by geographic location.)
