Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our high school teaching team for the 2026-2027 academic year.



 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Design and deliver engaging, student-centered mathematics instruction for Grades 9–12.
  • Develop and implement purposeful lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum and provide clear documentation of instructional preparation.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs, incorporating appropriate accommodations and supports.
  • Align curriculum and instruction with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and DESE standards.
  • Assess student learning using a variety of methods, analyze data to inform instruction, and adjust teaching strategies to support student growth.
  • Integrate technology into instruction in meaningful and effective ways to enhance student understanding, engagement, and real-world application of mathematical concepts.
  • Foster a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, collaboration, and academic excellence.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with students, families, and colleagues regarding student progress and needs.
  • Actively participate in department meetings, faculty collaboration, and school community events.



 

Other Responsibilities: Additional responsibilities identified as needed and/or assigned and approved by the Mathematics Department Chairperson and the School Administration.  


 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification for High School Mathematics. (Preferred but not required)
  • Proven experience as a Mathematics teacher at the secondary level (preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
