Senior Data Engineer

Senior Data Engineer (8+ Years)

Location: Remote / Hybrid / Onsite (USA)
Job Type: Full-time | W2 / C2C

Key Responsibilities

Eligibility

8+ years experience in Data Engineering

Strong hands-on project experience

Build and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines

Design data warehouses & data lakes

Work on large-scale data processing (batch & real-time)

Ensure data quality, governance, and performance tuning

Required Skills (Market Demand)

Strong Python / Scala / Java programming

Advanced SQL (complex queries & optimization)

Hands-on Apache Spark (PySpark)

Experience with Kafka (real-time streaming)

Strong cloud experience:

AWS (S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR) OR

Azure (ADF, Synapse) OR

GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow)

Experience with Snowflake / Redshift / BigQuery

ETL tools: dbt / Informatica / Talend

Workflow tools: Airflow

Knowledge of data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema)

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git

Databricks experience

Real-time tools: Spark Streaming / Flink

Knowledge of Lakehouse (Delta Lake / Iceberg)
