Description
The Operational Excellence and Strategy Intern plays a key role in supporting the campus-wide Operational Excellence (OE) and strategic initiatives, which falls under the Office of the Chief Operating Officer. This position focuses primarily on providing data analysis, communication, research support to the OE team, while also assisting with other team needs as assigned.
Responsibilities
OE Project Support
- Assist in collecting data from various sources, ensuring data quality through cleaning and pre-processing data for analysis
- Support the data analysis process by conducting basic statistical analysis, creating visualizations (charts, graphs, dashboards), and interpreting results to identify trends and patterns
- Help in preparing reports and presentations that summarize data insights, findings, and recommendations
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, or potential solutions, gathering information relevant to each assigned project
- Facilitate communication between project team members, campus partners, and other stakeholders
- Other responsibilities as needed
