Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Litigation Paralegal to support our legal team. The ideal candidate must possess strong organizational and research skills and thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. Candidates must be comfortable working on matters involving Republican and center-right candidates, committees, and causes. This role offers direct exposure to high-profile political and public interest litigation, with the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to conservative legal advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including pre-suit investigation, discovery, motions practice, and trial preparation.
  • Template, proofread, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests, and correspondence.
  • Manage and organize case files, document productions, and electronic discovery (e-discovery) platforms.
  • Conduct factual and legal research in support of cases involving election law, First Amendment rights, and campaign finance.
  • Coordinate with clients, courts, and regulatory agencies to ensure timely submission of filings and deadlines.
  • Prepare trial binders, exhibit lists, deposition summaries, and witness materials.
  • Monitor dockets and maintain litigation calendars to ensure critical deadlines are met.
  • Support attorneys in regulatory proceedings before state and federal election authorities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
  • 2–4 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Strong research, writing, and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with legal research platforms (Westlaw) and case management software.
  • Experience with e-discovery tools and document review platforms is a plus.
  • Demonstrated alignment with the firm’s mission and a commitment to conservative principles.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with federal or state court filing procedures is strongly preferred.
