Restaurant Service Manager

Weber Grill Restaurant is seeking an experienced Service Manager to join our team for our NEW restaurant opening in Orland Park, IL!

We are looking for a manager with excellent leadership skills and a strong desire to grow with the company. We are a full service restaurant searching for an enthusiastic, self motivated, results oriented person to join our team.

The successful candidate will:

• Promote excellence by providing superior customer service
• Create an atmosphere in the restaurant that builds energy, enthusiasm and fun, generating excellent service and positive morale
• Manage the daily operation of the restaurant to ensure high quality food, outstanding service, and complete guest satisfaction
• Possess excellent people management skills including promoting teamwork, providing on-going training, performance management, responding to employee issues and resolving conflicts
• Evaluate and monitor service levels and standards and develop plans for continuous improvement
• Must be organized, proficient in multi-tasking, and have strong computer-skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. A stable, progressive career history is a must. Ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years management experience in a full service, high volume restaurant with a focus on exceptional service and complete guest satisfaction.

Abilities, Knowledge and Other Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for 8-12 hours per day.
• Safely move about in all areas of the restaurant
• Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop and carry.
• Ability to carry up to 30 pounds (weight of a heavy tray)
• Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors.
• Work in space with variable ventilation, smoke and extreme temperatures
• Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from customer and employee traffic while in the field.
