ABOUT THE ROLE

 

An Investor Relations (IR) Intern supports the communication between a company and its financial stakeholders (investors/analysts) by managing databases, creating investor materials (presentations, reports), and assisting with earnings call preparations. This role involves market research, tracking competitor performance, and requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint, and attention to detail.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Financial Analysis & Research: Analyzing industry trends, tracking competitor activity, and summarizing analyst reports.
  • Earnings Call Support: Preparing materials, agendas, and tracking interactions for quarterly earnings calls and investor meetings.
  • Due Diligence: Assisting with document preparation for investor requests. 
  • Leadership Requests: Support ad hoc requests from leadership on peer group and/or market trends.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
