ABOUT THE ROLE
Tenneco is seeking a Corporate FP&A Intern to join our team in Northville, MI for Summer 2026. In this role, you will support financial reporting, planning, and analysis while working alongside experienced professionals. You will help analyze business performance, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to reporting that supports operational and strategic decision-making.
This internship offers hands-on exposure to corporate finance within a global automotive supplier and provides the opportunity to develop practical skills in financial analysis, data management, and business partnership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the Corporate FP&A Finance team in preparing monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and performance tracking
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities by gathering data and updating financial models
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and key business drivers
• Prepare reports and presentations used by Finance leadership and business partners
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial inputs and support analysis
• Contribute to ad-hoc financial analysis and finance process improvement initiatives
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; Junior or Senior standing preferred
• Expected to graduate in Spring 2028 preferred
• Relevant coursework, internships, or finance-related activities preferred• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ownership and proactive approach to learning and problem solving
