Assistant Marketing Manager

The Assistant Marketing Manager supports brand growth, visibility, and marketing effectiveness for HALL Hotels through strategic content development, digital marketing, brand management, and on-property activations. This role plays a key part in executing marketing initiatives while maintaining brand consistency across all platforms and guest touchpoints.

Content & Social Media Management

  • Lead development, creation, and scheduling of engaging content across social media platforms for HALL Hotels and its outlets
  • Capture live, on-property content and produce daily Instagram Story coverage
  • Build and manage monthly content calendars and creative asset planning
  • Manage LinkedIn content for both properties: HALL Arts Hotel and HALL Park Hotel
  • Oversee full community management across platforms, including:
    •  Responding to comments, direct messages, and guest inquiries in a timely, brand-aligned manner
    • Answering all social media questions that come through brand channels
  • Repost hotel partner shares, guest content, and internal shares when aligned with brand standards and messaging
  • Monitor social trends and implement strategies to increase engagement, reach, and brand awareness
  • Support influencer partnerships, giveaways, and brand collaborations
  • Oversee and maintain Facebook Events pages
  • Create job listings and internal and external highlight content

Content Creation & Brand Asset Management

  • Capture photography and video content to support storytelling and campaigns
  • Assist in planning and executing brand photoshoots aligned with seasonal initiatives and marketing strategies
  • Organize and maintain the brand folder including releases, imagery, video, and brand materials
  • Develop monthly campaign assets and marketing materials
  • Create and maintain digital display boards on property
  • Coordinate photography requests and marketing material needs across departments

On-Property Activations & Coverage

  • Attend, manage, and document on-site activations
  • Capture content and provide post-activation recaps and performance insights

Paid & Digital Marketing

  • Assist in strategy, execution, and management of Meta ad campaigns
  • Conduct website audits and support digital presence optimization
  • Perform monthly audits of hotels’ internet-facing platforms to ensure listings, imagery, and menus are current

Reputation & Review Management

  • Monitor and respond to guest reviews on Google, Marriott, Expedia, TripAdvisor, and other platforms within 48 hours
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure thoughtful, brand-aligned responses

Reporting & Strategic Support

  • Lead social media reporting for monthly Asset Management Reports and quarterly marketing recaps
  • Support development of annual marketing plans, strategy decks, and tracking documents

Operational & Administrative Leadership

  • Support Marketing Manager with internal and external communications
  • Prepare meeting agendas and capture detailed notes
  • Provide daily recap reports with updates, progress, and next steps
  • Oversee gift card organization, tracking, and inventory
  • Manage marketing calendars, activation schedules, and timelines
  • Uploading all marketing reports to airtable for corporate leaders to review monthly
  • Send weekly recap reports outlining completed tasks, pending items, upcoming deadlines, and next steps to ensure alignment across both properties

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Most work is done on-site at the hotels or outlets and there may be times when work may be conducted off-site when attending events related to job functions. Attendance at on-site activations is required. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:

  1. A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required.
  2. Previous experience of managing business social media profiles on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  3. 1-2 years in Communications, Marketing, Business, Public Relations, or other field related experience.
  4. Computer literate, comfortable with applications such as Outlook, Microsoft software, and design tools (such as Canva and Adobe applications).
  5. Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels.
  6. Previous experience with social media software such as Facebook Business Manager other social media dashboards.
  7. Understands social media KPIs and application to overall strategy.
  8. Displays knowledge and understanding of social media platforms relevant for industry, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.
  9. Has creative eye for capturing quality photography/videos and ability to make minor edits.
  10. Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy, and can pick up new tools quickly.
  11. Maintains exceptional communications skills that effectively communicates information and ideas through verbal, written, and visual format.
  12. Takes ideas and sees them through. Follows directions thoroughly, multitasks well and practices superior time management.
  13. Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead in content development, creation and editing of content, online reputation management, and capturing on-site activations.
  14. Can easily and naturally promote brand advocacy through relationships, online and off.
  15. Demonstrate winning social customer service techniques being a clear thinker, remaining calm, resolving problems using good judgment, empathy, patience, advocacy and conflict resolution.
  16. Maintains personal social media profiles in a professional manner.

 

Desirable:

  1. Previous experience in the hospitality industry.
  2. Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels.
