Accounting Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit weekly certified payroll reports in compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act.
  • Process weekly and biweekly payroll, verifying employee hours, pay rates, and classifications. 
  • Review employee timesheets for accuracy and resolve discrepancies with supervisors. 
  • Upload and maintain certified payroll documentation in LCPtracker, PointsNorth, or similar systems. 
  • Record financial transactions and assist with journal entries and general ledger maintenance. 
  • Support accounts payable, including vendor invoice processing and three-way matching. 
  • Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations. 
  • Maintain organized financial records and payroll documentation for compliance and audits.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting, payroll, or bookkeeping experience. 
  • Experience processing weekly or biweekly payroll. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with certified payroll and Davis-Bacon compliance. 
  • Familiarity with LCPtracker, PointsNorth, or similar payroll systems.
  • Experience in construction or project-based accounting. 
  • Knowledge of OCIP reporting requirements.
