Accounting Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit weekly certified payroll reports in compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act.
- Process weekly and biweekly payroll, verifying employee hours, pay rates, and classifications.
- Review employee timesheets for accuracy and resolve discrepancies with supervisors.
- Upload and maintain certified payroll documentation in LCPtracker, PointsNorth, or similar systems.
- Record financial transactions and assist with journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
- Support accounts payable, including vendor invoice processing and three-way matching.
- Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Maintain organized financial records and payroll documentation for compliance and audits.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of accounting, payroll, or bookkeeping experience.
- Experience processing weekly or biweekly payroll.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with certified payroll and Davis-Bacon compliance.
- Familiarity with LCPtracker, PointsNorth, or similar payroll systems.
- Experience in construction or project-based accounting.
- Knowledge of OCIP reporting requirements.
