Membership Events Intern

The Magnificent Mile Association - Membership and Events Division is seeking interns to work on various projects during the summer of 2026. 

The Magnificent Mile® Association is a community organization which represents and informs the many and diverse interests within its geographical boundaries. The Association's mission is to provide strong leadership to all our constituencies in planning for growth and development that will enhance the area’s quality of life. The Association seeks to preserve, promote and enhance a vibrant, growing and stable community by identifying, articulating and serving the needs of its membership.

Duties will include:

  • Managing daily events and marketing program logistics, including website inquiries.
  • Developing and maintaining member website listings, and e-newsletters.
  • Assisting in recruiting member participation through various consumer seasonal campaigns.
  • Assist, attend and interact with members at Association events, including Membership Connections, Membership Luncheons, membership committee meetings, and additional special programs.
  • Assist in keeping our CRM system’s database current.
  • Assistance in developing and executing membership events and programs to generate business in The Magnificent Mile district
  • Other duties/projects as assigned.

Applicants should be available to work in office during regular office hours (9:00am – 5:00pm).

Skill requirements: excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional time-management skills, extraordinary attention to detail, desire to grow and contribute in a fast-paced and challenging environment, ability to multi-task.

This is an ideal position for an energetic and entrepreneurial marketing student who has an interest for a career in marketing and events. Candidates should have exceptional time-management skills, ability to effectively support multiple projects with pressing deadlines and to prioritize the ambition of learning from close management/supervision.
