Sales / Marketing Intern

The Sales & Marketing  intern will be embedded on the Sales and Customer Success teams which are responsible for identifying, establishing, and growing our relationships with local governments across the country.  As the strongest link between Tolemi and our city partners, they are also responsible for working across departments to suggest new product features and use cases to best serve our partners. The Sales & CS team has ongoing initiatives around processes, branding, data insights and customer experience.  There will be opportunities for the intern to contribute to these projects according to interest.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify opportunities to expand our services with new and existing clients

Participate in weekly sprint planning and retros. Manage own tasks and assist with other project tasks as needed. Delegate tasks to other teams when appropriate. Communicate proactively

Assist sales team with developing communications to potential customers for new product features

Connect with marketing and brand team to identify necessary materials for conferences and client meetings

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

A passion for housing issues, urban planning, policy, or similar.

Proficient in graphic design (canva, photoshop, etc…)

Strong self-management and organizational skills. Comfortable reading technical documentation to understand unfamiliar technologies.

Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate with a team.

Project management and/or customer service experience preferred

Experience with presenting, facilitating, or public speaking preferred
