Position Overview
We are seeking a curious, motivated, and forward-thinking intern who is excited about the rapidly evolving world of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
This role will focus primarily on exploring and testing AI tools for internal business use, including AI assistants, automation workflows, and data analysis tools. The intern will work closely with multiple departments to understand how teams operate today and help identify where AI can improve processes, reduce manual work, and unlock better insights.
The intern will also contribute ideas and testing related to how AI can enhance the Cloud9 platform, helping us continue to innovate for our customers.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys experimenting with new technology, asking questions, and thinking creatively about how AI can solve real-world problems.
Key Responsibilities
AI Tool Testing & Experimentation
Test and evaluate emerging AI tools such as chatbots, AI assistants, and automation platforms that may be used internally by teams across the company.
Internal Workflow Exploration
Work with different departments to understand current processes and identify opportunities where AI can improve efficiency, automate tasks, or enhance decision-making.
AI Strategy Support
Research how other companies are applying AI within their organizations and help contribute insights that support EVO’s internal AI initiatives.
AI Agent & Chatbot Testing
Participate in testing AI assistants designed to help employees access company data, answer operational questions, and streamline workflows.
Cloud9 Platform Innovation
Assist with identifying opportunities where AI capabilities could enhance the user experience and functionality within our Cloud9 customer platform.
Data & Content Organization
Support efforts to organize and structure product data and digital content to improve consistency and enable better use with AI tools.
System Testing & Feedback
Help test new digital features, AI automations, and system enhancements, providing feedback and documentation to improve quality and performance.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Strong interest in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies
- Curiosity about how technology can improve business operations
- Comfortable exploring and experimenting with new software tools
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Basic familiarity with technology tools or coding concepts is helpful but not required
